Terrazzo stairs are occasionally cast in place but more commonly precast. Whatever substrate, concrete or metal, use terrazzo to create beautiful custom stair treads and risers cast specific to your project needs. There are numerous different tread and tread riser designs. Below you'd find a few of the most common tread details. These tread designs can be produced in both self supporting or fully supported designs. WOOD STAIR TREADS
Parklex offers a unique flooring solution for stair treads. The HPL manufacturing process imparts the physical properties of laminate onto the wood and significantly increased hardness and durability of the virgin wood by up to 450 percent. Parklex offers tread only as well as tread and risers. We can also fabricate fully supported or self supported tread designs. Parklex offers over 20 species of resin enhanced real wood to choose from.
CONCRETE STAIR TREADS

As with terrazzo concrete is a poured material and can be cast in to numerous custom tread designs. We offer both fully supported and self supported precast concrete stair treads.
